Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Advisor. This role will involve leading the delivery effort on various projects, playing a critical role in every aspect of the consulting engagement, from opportunity assessment through final implementation. You will also have the opportunity to assist with sales and business development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Built strong relationships with client stakeholders by helping them manage and resolve various operational issues
  • Conducted interviews with key stakeholders to develop a current state assessment, evaluated against industry leading standards to suggest savings opportunities/operational improvements
  • Analyzed client spend data and created project deliverables, conducted in-depth research into various markets and industries
  • Developed process maps, identified gaps and recommended improvement opportunities
  • Collaborated with client stakeholders to draft and release RFPs
  • Supported client stakeholders as well as suppliers during the bid evaluation and supplier selection process
  • Developed financial models (TCO) to understand the true cost of owning a particular good/service, presented to key decision makers/stakeholders
  • Evaluated suppliers- pricing proposal to identify cost reduction levers and drafted negotiation strategy presentations
  • Reviewed contracts to ensure alignment with negotiated procurement terms, facilitated redlines from legal team as necessary

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of prior experience in a consulting firm or industry. Specific experience within operations, supply-chain and/or procurement is required
  • Excited about working in a start-up atmosphere, comfortable with ambiguity and have an ownership-driven mindset
  • Proven problem-solving and time management ability
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to work autonomously and utilize presentation and interpersonal skills daily
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite: including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (ability to create complex formulas and analyze large data sets)
