Virbhu India Pvt Ltd, a leading solid state power conversion company, has an immediate opening for a Head of Technical/Development Team to lead the development of Mega Watt scale converters using SiC devices and IGBT devices.

The team will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and testing of power electronic systems for various applications, such as Vehicle Charging Infrastructure and renewable energy.

This role involves leading a team of engineers, managing projects, fostering innovation with new technologies like SiC/Si-IGBT semiconductors, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with other departments and external partners to bring products from concept to manufacturing.

The company plans to build several prototypes for different applications and develop design and specifications for third-party manufacturers.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in R&D management within the power electronics domain and a strong knowledge of power semiconductor devices, embedded systems, control algorithms, and hardware design.
