Are you a visionary leader in power electronics looking to spearhead innovation and drive growth? We have an exciting opportunity for a Power Electronics Development Head.

This role involves leading a team of engineers responsible for developing cutting-edge power converters that push the boundaries of efficiency and performance. You will be responsible for owning the product lifecycle, from architecture and simulation to design, prototyping, verification, and validation.

You will guide the specification, modeling, and design of complex power electronics systems, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices, project timelines, and quality standards. Your expertise in gate driver design, bridge rectifier design, and multi-level converter topologies will enable you to develop and optimize converters that reduce harmonics and improve efficiency.

As a seasoned leader with a strong track record of mentoring and cross-functional communication, you will build and manage relationships with third-party design vendors and test infrastructure partners. You will also define and implement a technology roadmap aligned with the company's R&D and market growth goals.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of power semiconductor devices, including Thyristors, Si-IGBTs, and SiC-MOSFETs. A Master's or PhD in Power Electronics is a strong advantage. Experience in EMI/EMC mitigation, thermal management, and high-voltage isolation is essential. Strong leadership skills, along with hands-on experience in hardware debugging, test bench setups, and system validation, are required.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (BSEE or equivalent).
  • Master's or PhD in Power Electronics is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in power electronics R&D, with 7+ years in a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the engineering team responsible for power converter development.
  • Own the full product lifecycle: architecture, simulation, design, prototyping, verification, and validation.
  • Guide the specification, modeling, and design of complex power electronics systems.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, project timelines, and quality standards.
  • Lead PCB layout and mechanical design collaboration, ensuring design integrity and manufacturability.
  • Build and manage relationships with third-party design vendors and test infrastructure partners.
  • Define and implement a technology roadmap aligned with the company's R&D and market growth goals.
  • Drive recruitment and talent development, building a high-performing, technically excellent team.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test plans.
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, supply chain, and manufacturing for seamless product launches.
