Procurement Associate

We're seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing and purchasing to contract management and vendor relations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement operations and sourcing, with a proven track record of delivering results. They will also possess excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement operations and sourcing
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams
  • Proficiency in eProcurement tools like Ariba, SAP, or Oracle

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Process Management: Manage the entire procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract management.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely product delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee a team of 6-8 procurement professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction initiatives and vendor selection.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in procurement operations and sourcing
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in eProcurement tools like Ariba, SAP, or Oracle
