**Product Development Role**

We are seeking a skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team at TDK Electronics. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing products based on design rules, providing technical support to production and quality teams, and leading the entire product lifecycle from ideation to validation.

  • Perform design calculations, simulations, and market trend analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.
  • Develop a strong understanding of technical aspects of the R&D field, including research methodologies, product development processes, and relevant technologies.
  • Lead cost reduction projects and ensure products meet quality standards and market needs.
  • Prepare design documentation as per new product development and release procedure.
  • Cater to automotive design and development methods, and handle UL, VDE, CQC, BIS, IATF audits and its requirements.
  • Provide technical support to Quality department and experience with PPAP documentation, RCA with head of quality tools DFMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development: Design products based on design rules, perform calculations, simulations, and market trend analysis.

  3. Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation to validation.
  4. Cost Reduction: Lead cost reduction projects and ensure products meet quality standards and market needs.
  5. Audits and Compliance: Handle UL, VDE, CQC, BIS, IATF audits and its requirements.
  6. Quality Assurance: Provide technical support to Quality department and experience with PPAP documentation, RCA with head of quality tools DFMEA.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in R&D, preferably in the electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical aspects of the R&D field, including research methodologies, product development processes, and relevant technologies.
  • Experience with cost reduction projects and project management.
  • Familiarity with automotive design and development methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
