Job Title: Kitchen Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directs and supervises a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing coaching and support as needed.
  • Coordinates menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Ensures adherence to health and safety protocols, including HACCP and Public Health standards.
  • Liaises with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices and terms, optimizing kitchen efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintains immaculate recipe folders and ensures accurate record-keeping and documentation.
  • Collaborates with other departments to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in upscale hotels, resorts, cruise ships, or convention banqueting service.
  • At least 2 years as a senior chef or equivalent role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Culinary school degree required, preferably with a specialization in hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
