Job Title: Kitchen Operations Manager
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Directs and supervises a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing coaching and support as needed.
- Coordinates menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Ensures adherence to health and safety protocols, including HACCP and Public Health standards.
- Liaises with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices and terms, optimizing kitchen efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintains immaculate recipe folders and ensures accurate record-keeping and documentation.
- Collaborates with other departments to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in upscale hotels, resorts, cruise ships, or convention banqueting service.
- At least 2 years as a senior chef or equivalent role, with a proven track record of success.
- Culinary school degree required, preferably with a specialization in hospitality management.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
