Technical Project Manager Role Overview

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end project management for client implementations. This includes supporting colleagues across departments, designing project elements, and providing support to clients through project implementation.

This role involves developing a working knowledge of solutions and platforms, working with clients and colleagues to develop project scope plans and documentation, and leading and facilitating planning sessions to build consensus among project team members.

Key responsibilities include developing, communicating, and maintaining detailed project plans, preparing project reports for status meetings, identifying and tracking project-related issues, and ensuring project plans deliver against service level agreements and key performance indicators.

Additionally, the Technical Project Manager will act as a liaison between clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, maintain strong customer relationships, and follow processes around documenting client work and interactions using CRM and project management tools.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop a working knowledge of Talogy solutions and platforms.
  • Work with clients and colleagues to develop project scope plans and documentation.
  • Lead and facilitate planning sessions to build consensus among project team members.
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain detailed project plans.
  • Prepare project reports for status meetings.
  • Identify, track, monitor, and communicate on project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies.
  • Monitor workflows and deadlines to ensure team members meet project goals accurately and timely.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships.
  • E nsure project plans deliver against SLAs and KPI expectations regarding costs, schedules, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow processes around documenting client work and interactions using CRM and project management tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a project management environment.
  • Education/certification in project management preferred.
