Enterprise Software Solutions Architect

Craft scalable, secure, and cost-effective software solutions as an Enterprise Software Solutions Architect. This role involves hands-on architecture design and implementation, collaborating with engineering teams to shape modern architectures that meet business goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Hands-On Architecture: Contribute to the design and development of enterprise-grade software solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Implementation Support: Work closely with development teams to provide practical guidance throughout the software lifecycle from concept to deployment.
  • Architecture Design: Collaborate on system architecture decisions to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and modern engineering standards.
  • Cloud-Native Development: Support the adoption and implementation of cloud technologies, focusing on Microsoft Azure services like AKS and managed data storage.
  • Streaming and Scalability: Participate in designing distributed, event-driven systems using technologies like Kafka to ensure high availability and responsiveness at scale.
  • AI Integration Awareness: Contribute to solution designs that incorporate AI capabilities, understanding where intelligent services or automation can enhance business value.
  • Developer Efficiency: Promote the use of AI-enhanced developer tools like GitHub Copilot to improve productivity, code quality, and consistency across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure architectural solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, including direct involvement in architecture and system design.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of delivering real-world solutions through active contribution to implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding: Strong understanding of designing enterprise-grade systems that are scalable, secure, cost-conscious, and maintainable.
  • Skills: Practical experience with Azure Cloud services, including compute (Kubernetes on Azure (AKS), storage, and networking; exposure to streaming platforms like Kafka; deep expertise in at least one modern back-end programming language (e.g., C#, Java, C++).
  • Additional Skills: Solid experience with data systems, including both SQL and NoSQL databases; familiarity with integrating or leveraging AI services or frameworks in software architectures; proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools; competent in modern development tools and practices: version control, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and performance tuning.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical decisions to engineers and stakeholders; pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset balancing technical excellence with business needs and delivery timelines.
