Director of Engineering Job Description

We're looking for a seasoned technology leader to join our engineering organization.

You will help scale and build the next generation of platform and services/products, building a top-tier software organization responsible for highly scalable, reliable, and available systems.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the VP, Product & Technology. As a technology leader, you will:

  • Hire and develop great talent while building a solid engineering organization that thrives on execution, innovation, and learning.
  • Deliver products that delight customers while managing the health of the code base through continuous refactoring and management of technical debt.
  • Champion the culture, processes, and tools required to maintain a frictionless high-quality development environment.

You will be a hands-on technical resource who directs product and technology teams to conceptualize, build, and deploy products in a fast-paced agile environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of combined software development & management experience across multiple languages and frameworks or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years hands-on software development or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years managing software organizations over 25 people or equivalent experience.
