Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our organization in Hyderabad, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our supply chain, vendor relationships, procurement, and inventory optimization to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing that supports our growing direct-to-consumer brand.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain, operations, and procurement principles and practices. They will also possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies.
  • Sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions.
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Managing inventory levels and optimizing inventory turnover.
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs.
  • Resolving any procurement-related issues or disputes.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and regulations relevant to procurement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, operations, and procurement principles and practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Proficient in using purchasing software and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
