Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in identifying and evaluating vendors for mechanical, electrical, and project-related materials.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Maintenance of vendor databases, evaluation of supplier performance, and compliance with quality standards are also key responsibilities.

  • Identify and evaluate vendors/suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and project-related materials
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement
  • Coordinate with project teams to understand technical requirements
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to avoid project delays
  • Maintain accurate vendor databases, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Follow up with suppliers for order acknowledgment and logistics tracking
  • Prepare purchase reports and maintain proper documentation
  • Support procurement planning, budgeting, and inventory control for ongoing projects
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and safety standards

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes in EPC/Projects/Water Industry
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/materials
  • Vendor development and supplier relationship management
  • Negotiation and cost optimization skills
  • ERP/Procurement software knowledge preferred
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills
