Job Title:

Technology Infrastructure Lead

Role Overview:

The CMDB Technical Analyst will be part of the Information Management function. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in external data source integrations, ITOM discovery, OT Module, and a solid understanding of SAM Module.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of CMDB data by identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.
  • Establishing relationships between CIs to accurately reflect dependencies within the IT infrastructure.
  • Performing data cleansing and deduplication activities.
  • Managing the CMDB module, improving data representation accuracy.
  • Developing and tracking key performance indicators for CMDB health.
  • Configuring and managing data discovery tools to automatically populate the CMDB with information from various IT systems.
  • Integrating CMDB data with other ServiceNow modules like Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8-10 years' relevant experience in an IT Industry.
  • 5 years' experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Experience in ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, SAM (Software Asset Management), and HAM (Hardware Asset Management) Module.
  • Bachelors degree in Technology or Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and components (servers, networks, applications).
  • Experience defining, documenting, and implementing CMDB governance processes and procedures.
  • ITIL certified.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified ServiceNow Admin or equivalent.
  • Agile Methodology experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
