Ignition SCADA Professional

Drive manufacturing technology advancements in a transformative journey.

  • Design, configure, and deploy Ignition SCADA and MES applications across various manufacturing operations to enhance business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions that meet industry standards.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems, PLC, SCADA, MES with enterprise IT systems, ERP databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Implement secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing and predictive analytics.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADAMES deployments to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking OEE downtime analysis, traceability SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OT-IT integration technologies, REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA HMIs, and plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95 ISA88 ISA99 IEC 62443.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms Azure IoT AWS IoT, etc.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization, Docker Kubernetes for SCADAMES deployments.
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation Industry 4.0 projects.
  • Certifications Ignition Gold Certified Specialist OPC UA or relevant industrial ITOT certifications.
