Cloud Architect Role Overview

We are a leading tech consulting firm, empowering clients to transform their businesses through Cloud, AI & Analytics.

As a Cloud Architect, you will consult with clients and propose innovative architectural solutions to help move and improve infrastructure from on-premise to cloud or optimize cloud spend across public clouds.

  1. Experiment with new age cloud offerings, define best practices as a thought leader for cloud, automation & Dev-Ops, and be a solution visionary and technology expert across multiple channels.
  2. Augment skills and learn new tech as the technology and client needs evolve.
  3. Use your GCP experience to build hybrid-cloud solutions for customers.
  4. Provide leadership to project teams, facilitating project deliverables around core Cloud-based technology and methods.
  5. Define tracking mechanisms and ensure IT standards and methodology are met; deliver quality results.
  6. Participate in technical reviews of requirements, designs, code, and other artifacts.
  7. Identify and keep abreast of new technical concepts in GCP.
  8. Advise customers on security, risk, and compliance, focusing on access management, network setup, regulatory compliance, and related areas.
  9. Be a passionate, persuasive, articulate Cloud professional capable of establishing interest and credibility quickly.
  10. Possess good business judgment, a comfortable communication style, and a willingness and ability to work with customers and teams.
  11. Have a strong service attitude and commitment to quality.
  12. Be highly organized and efficient.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a reputable institute or extensive programming experience from a young age. Preferably, both.
  • 8+ years of experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (GCP) and IT operational experience in a global enterprise environment.
  • 4+ years proven experience as an GCP Architect.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.

Candidates with Google Cloud Certified qualifications are preferred.
