Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer to excel in designing and optimizing PCB designs, resolving design issues, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Optimization: Provide technical expertise in designing and optimizing PCB designs to meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve PCB design, reliability, schedule, and cost issues at internal or external PCB fabricators.
  • Documentation: Create detailed fabrication drawings of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Gerber files (Artwork).
  • Hardware Design Document: Develop hardware design documents that cover design analysis, notes, and specific guidelines followed.
  • PCB Layout: Perform PCB layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards through fabrication and assembly drawings generation.
  • Transferring Schematic Designs: Transfer schematic net-list design, ID, and ME design into the physical PCB design based on electrical considerations.
  • PCB Documentation: Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files.
  • Cycle Time Reduction: Work with cross-functional teams to reduce cycle time and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Process Development: Develop PCB layout concepts that align with efficient manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Design, Electronics Engineering, Embedded System Engineering, ECE, or ETC. 3+ years' experience in using PCB designing tools, familiarity with KiCAD, ISIS, ARES, Allegro or similar industry standard tools. Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and fundamentals of digital and analog circuit design.
