At a leading medical device design and development organization, our team collaborates with experts across multiple domains to bring innovative solutions that enhance healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design complex electronic systems for medical devices, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Create and optimize schematics using industry-standard design tools such as Altium Designer or Eagle.
  • Integrate hardware components including microcontrollers, sensors, power supplies, communication interfaces, and other embedded system components.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are scalable for production and apply design-for-manufacturing principles.
  • Interface with component suppliers to select cost-effective parts, ensuring availability and quality.
  • Develop and test prototypes to ensure performance aligns with product specifications.
  • Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve design issues and optimize system performance.
  • Conduct failure analysis, root cause analysis, and component selection reviews to enhance hardware reliability.
  • Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, layout files, Bill of Materials (BOM), and technical reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
  • 4+ years of experience in electronic design, with exposure to medical device development being highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard PCB design tools.
  • Familiarity with high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal designs.
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and signal integrity in electronic design.
  • Understanding of medical device regulatory standards and FDA guidelines.
  • Experience with communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong problem-solving attitude.
