Network Security Specialist

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality network services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and analyzing ISP/DC/DR/MPLS/P2P links for optimal performance to ensure seamless data transfer.
  • Generating accurate availability and utilization reports to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Maintaining up-to-date network device inventory for efficient operations and minimizing downtime.
Technical Requirements:
  • Configuring and managing firewalls to ensure robust security operations and protect against potential threats.
  • Implementing effective IP whitelisting and blocking malware IPs as per SOC guidelines to maintain system integrity.
  • Reviewing and optimizing firewall rule bases for maximum efficiency and reducing vulnerabilities.
  • Monitoring and deploying NIPS/IPS signatures for enhanced threat detection and prompt incident response.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Backing up and restoring critical network devices to prevent data loss and minimize downtime.
  • Modifying VLAN configurations on L2 switches to optimize network flow and improve overall performance.
  • Resetting network device passwords to maintain system security and comply with regulatory requirements.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Responding to Level 1 incidents via email or phone calls to provide timely support and resolution.
  • Preparing and implementing Request for Changes (RFCs) for smooth operations and minimizing disruptions.
  • Collaborating with OEMs for timely troubleshooting and resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
