Job Title: Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's security infrastructure, including firewalls and virtual private networks (VPNs). This will involve installing hardware, configuring firewalls, and setting up VPNs.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain security infrastructure
  • Configure firewalls and set up VPNs
  • Install hardware
Required Skills and Qualifications:Technical Skills:
  • Good understanding of basic routing and switching concepts
  • Expertise in remote infrastructure management for networks
  • Hands-on experience with configuration and troubleshooting of Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Checkpoint firewalls
  • Perform day-to-day firewall activities such as administration, management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Good knowledge of IOS upgrades and software strategies
  • Hands-on experience with configuring URL filtering, file blocking, and security profiles in Palo Alto firewalls
  • Review network security threat logs for intrusions and compromises and provide solutions
  • Good knowledge of authentication methods like radius and tacacs
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
