Job Title: Data Governance Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Technical Expertise: Proven experience with SQL Server DBA (SQL Server 2012/2016/2019/2022), T-SQL, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Strong proficiency in backup, restore, and recovery models is also required.
- Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server, as well as performance tuning and optimization (PTO), is necessary. Experience working with monitoring tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and third-party solutions is a plus.
- Communication and Documentation: Strong communication and documentation skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
