Job Overview

The role of a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer involves developing and implementing automated test frameworks, as well as performing quality assurance testing on software components executing on network switch products.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance engineers, program managers, customers, manufacturing engineering, and project leadership to ensure the development of robust and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop modular, automated test cases and scripts
  • Prioritize and implement data-centric approaches to software quality tracking, monitoring, and enhancements
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and other tools
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues through debugging and analysis
  • Maintain strong knowledge in automation and scripting skills, including Python, JavaScript, and other languages
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in test automation and software quality assurance
Requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Demands
  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment
  • May require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor
  • Ongoing repetitive manual movements may be required
Work Environment
  • Occasional travel may be required
