Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop and its associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze system performance indicators to recommend improvement actions for Azure WVD production configuration
  • Migrate virtual desktops from on-premises environments to cloud-based platforms, as well as between tenants
  • Implement FSlogix technologies for user and Office 365 profiling requirements
  • Design and implement Azure Site Recovery for workload replication to meet Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) needs
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AVD environments
  • Collaborate with engineering, development, and product teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions for services provided
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and concepts supporting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, including networking, compute, storage, subscriptions, and security
  • Experience with IP Networking, VNet peering, Azure Firewall, and Azure Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Windows and Azure automation tools
  • Knowledge and experience of using Azure Migrate and other relevant tools for migrating workloads
