Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Identity and Access Management expert to join our Global Cybersecurity team.

This individual will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IAM solutions with a focus on Okta, driving strategic initiatives forward in complex, large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities:

IAM Architecture & Engineering:

  • Design and implement IAM solutions using Okta, Active Directory, and other identity providers, ensuring seamless SSO integration and federation for global business-critical applications.
  • Manage SSO integration and federation for global business-critical applications, fostering a secure and efficient access experience.
  • Develop custom workflows, hooks, and API integrations within Okta, enhancing the overall user experience.

Security & Zero Trust Implementation:

  • Enable and support passwordless authentication, identity threat detection, and zero-trust access policies, safeguarding sensitive data and infrastructure.
  • Integrate Okta with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools to protect high-risk roles and service accounts, maintaining the highest level of security.
  • Implement context-based access controls using device posture, risk scores, and geolocation, ensuring granular access management.

Identity Governance:

  • Deploy and manage the Okta Identity Governance (IGA) platform, streamlining access request processes and improving overall governance.
  • Design automated access request workflows, with multi-level approval processes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Conduct access reviews, certification campaigns, and support continuous access verification, maintaining the integrity of IAM systems.

Operations & Compliance:

  • Monitor IAM environments for security compliance and performance metrics (SLA, MFA adoption, etc.), identifying areas for improvement.
  • Configure identity proofing workflows for secure, remote onboarding, minimizing operational overhead.
  • Ensure alignment with frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC2, and organizational policies, upholding industry standards.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with regional IT teams and business stakeholders to align IAM strategy with business needs, fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Promote self-service capabilities and reduce operational overhead, enhancing the employee experience.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, guidelines, and training materials, supporting knowledge sharing and growth.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 7+ years of IAM engineering experience, with 3+ years specializing in Okta, driving innovation and progress in the field.
  • Okta Certified Administrator certification, demonstrating expertise and commitment to excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of SSO protocols (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect), ensuring seamless integration and security.
  • Experience with Okta IGA, Workflows, FastPass, and user lifecycle automation, streamlining access management.
  • Strong scripting skills using Python or PowerShell for IAM automation, automating repetitive tasks and improving efficiency.
  • Proven ability to work with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and SIEM integrations, driving innovation and scalability.
  • Hands-on experience with PAM tools such as BeyondTrust or Delinea, protecting sensitive assets and infrastructure.
