Electrical BIM Modeller Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Electrical BIM Modeller. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing and coordinating 3D electrical models using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360.
  • Create detailed electrical layouts, schematics, conduit/tray routing, panel schedules, and lighting and ELV systems.
  • Prepare electrical circuit layouts, schematics, and construction drawings ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolution by collaborating with other MEP disciplines.
  • Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and installation drawings based on design models.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless BIM execution and coordination.
  • Adhere to project-specific BIM standards, LOD requirements, and documentation protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years' experience in BIM electrical modelling for MEP projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360, Di-Roots, Dynamo.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and cable routing principles.
  • Experience with clash detection, coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration is essential.
  • Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements is required.
