Job Description:

 

  • A BIM Modeler is needed to create construction drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software, and for 3D modeling experience using Revit Software.

 

The position involves setting up projects, creating parametric families, providing materials and managing the Revit server from a production perspective.

 

Responsibilities include completing attachment, detail markups for company products, translating less specific design direction into functional documents, building FRP, GFRC products like Columns, Cupolas, Cornices, Domes, Balustrades, Entryways, and different types of cladding systems.

 

BIM Modeling responsibilities include creating 3D BIM models using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD), implementing BIM best practices, including LOD (Level of Development) standards, performing clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve design conflicts, collaborating with project team members to ensure seamless integration of all building systems, generating accurate construction documents and drawings from BIM models, maintaining an organized and up-to-date BIM documentation system, and conducting regular quality checks to ensure BIM models meet industry standards and client requirements.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
  • Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Well-versed with American codes & standards.
