Job Title: Strategic Market Access Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to lead market access activities, ensuring optimal product pricing, reimbursement, and patient access for pharmaceutical products.

The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and execute market access strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement market access strategies to ensure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and patient access for pharmaceutical products.
  • Conduct market research and health economics analysis to identify market access barriers, pricing trends, and payer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory teams to generate evidence supporting product value.
  • Engage with payers, government bodies, and healthcare authorities to negotiate reimbursement strategies, pricing, and access conditions.
  • Prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers, value dossiers, pricing applications, and HTA submissions.
  • Monitor policy developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to proactively adapt access strategies.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support product launch planning and lifecycle management.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including payers, KOLs, industry bodies, and internal teams.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of market access professionals, ensuring high performance and knowledge development.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, pricing & reimbursement pathways, HTA processes, and payer dynamics.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing market access strategies, preparing reimbursement dossiers, and engaging with payers.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
