Job Description

This role involves providing expert-level application and production support for digital payment systems, including UPI and retail banking platforms. You will be responsible for monitoring application health, system alerts, and performing incident management to ensure minimal downtime.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2/3 application and production support for digital payment systems.
  • Monitor application health, system alerts, and perform incident management.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and drive long-term solutions.
  • Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution and change implementation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8-11 years of experience in application support, production support, or IT operations.
  • Hands-on experience supporting UPI platforms, retail banking applications, and payment gateways.
  • Strong understanding of banking protocols and digital payment workflows.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux commands, log analysis, and scripting (Shell/Python preferred).
  • Good understanding of monitoring tools, incident tracking systems (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, ServiceNow).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
