PHP Architect and Fintech Domain Specialist

Job Description Summary:
Our team seeks an accomplished Tech Lead with extensive expertise in Laravel and CodeIgniter. The successful candidate will lead the technical architecture, development, and scaling of fintech products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and develop scalable fintech solutions.
- Own the complete product lifecycle from concept validation to deployment and scaling.
- Implement secure, high-performance APIs for third-party integration and payment services.
- Drive fintech domain solutions, including domestic money transfer, Aadhaar-enabled payment systems, Bharat Bill Payment System, and recharge systems.
- Mentor and guide the engineering team, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in PHP development, with strong hands-on expertise in Laravel and CodeIgniter.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role with proven ability to lead teams.
- In-depth experience in the Fintech domain (DMT, AEPS, BBPS, Recharge).
- Expertise in 3rd-party API integration and secure API design.
- Proficiency in MySQL/database architecture and optimization.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, transaction security, encryption, and compliance is preferred. Experience in SaaS product development or multi-tenant architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), queues & caching (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka), and front-end technologies (Vue.js/React) is a plus.
