
Cross-Border Payments Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven professional to join our Cross Border Payments team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing relationships with cross-border clients across regions.
The role involves driving merchant acquisition through building and executing a robust cross-border sales strategy, aligned with regional market needs and regulations.
You will engage with key partners, marketplaces, financial institutions, e-commerce platforms, and other relevant entities to promote our cross-border payments solutions.
Strategic contributions will be required for new market entry and expansion initiatives, ensuring alignment with our cross-border growth objectives.
You will develop and present compelling value propositions for our cross-border payment solutions, tailored to meet global compliance and regulatory standards.
Leading negotiations and managing contract development will ensure favorable terms that support both client needs and our objectives.
Collaboration with internal teams will be crucial for smooth execution of cross-border sales activities and seamless client onboarding.
Achieving targets related to GMV, revenue, and customer flows from international markets will drive profitability and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a cross-border sales strategy to drive merchant acquisition and revenue growth.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, marketplaces, financial institutions, and e-commerce platforms.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on cross-border payment solutions, ensuring alignment with regional market needs and regulations.
- Managing contract development and negotiation to ensure favorable terms that support both client needs and our objectives.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of cross-border sales activities and seamless client onboarding.
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within cross-border payments, fintech, or foreign exchange.
- Expertise in international markets, with a proven track record in cross-border deal-making and managing global client relationships.
- Strong performance history in meeting and exceeding revenue targets, with a results-driven approach.
- A proactive self-starter with the ability to innovate and improve processes independently.
- Ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders and align cross-functional teams toward sales objectives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm and effectively manage high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrated consultative selling skills and the ability to close high-value, cross-border deals.
