International Business Development Manager

As an International Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business growth strategies to expand our client's presence in international markets.

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the expansion plans of Indian companies into international markets, engage with clients, generate leads and support economic development agencies towards attracting investments in their region.

Key responsibilities include interacting with overseas companies/consultants via various modes of communication, identifying opportunities for our clients, presenting our client's geography as a potential business location for company's expansion plans and analyzing and formulating reports from data/information gathered from interactions and meetings.

Additionally, the role will involve engaging with clients, managing delegation visits, client visits, virtual webinars, investors road shows for client accounts, writing proposals, business plans and analysis, setting up meetings with CXO level executives of qualified companies and preparing and delivering presentations on research findings and trends on cross border investments, Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) to the clients.

Requirements for this position include minimum 3-4 years in trade promotion bodies/expert network/trade & investment promotion/investment attraction/SME-corporate banking/economic development/market entry with experience in business development and handling overseas clients.

A strong industry expertise and networks, strong communication skills with fluency in English and understanding of market entry, cross border investments, internationalization via international market expansion are essential for this role.

Preferred qualifications include bachelors in any discipline, preference for masters in fields of economics, finance, international business (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required).
