About the Role:

The Head of Digital Design is responsible for leading the design and development of visually stunning, user-driven websites. This includes taking a website from initial concept to a fully responsive, functioning live site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain working knowledge of content management and eCommerce solutions to ensure seamless integration with development projects.
  • Collaborate with fellow developers, designers, and user experience professionals to deliver high-quality development projects.
  • Develop and maintain beautiful and well-documented code that meets industry standards.
  • Utilize JavaScript to run A/B tests and drive data-informed design decisions.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for web development.
  • Experience with JavaScript for running A/B tests.
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles and human-centered design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, leadership roles preferred.
  • Portfolio showcasing design expertise and leadership capabilities.
