Head of Design Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Design Leader to head up our design operations in India.

This is a unique chance to drive the scale and quality of our design practice, working closely with global teams to deliver world-class outcomes for our clients.

You will lead a growing team of designers across five studios in India, driving design quality, craft, and practice, and evolving our service offerings to meet the needs of our clients.

This role requires a true design practitioner who can guide the planning of design thinking workshops, inform how best to approach user research or service design challenges, and structure a CX Center of Excellence for a client.

About the Role
  • Lead the scale of the design operation from India, ensuring best-in-class outcomes for design.
  • Drive design quality, craft, and practice, continuously enhancing overall competency of the team.
  • Evolving our service offering and value propositions to our clients.
  • Provide strategic design thought leadership to the whole organisation.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience; 7+ years leadership/management experience of teams of 50+ designers.
  • Previous roles may include Global Creative Director, Senior Experience Director, VP Design, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes.
  • Mastery in Product Design, Service Design, User Research, demonstrated through a portfolio of outstanding work performed by teams led and directed by you.
  • Proven experience building aligned connections both regionally and globally as a respected leader in the design community.
