Job Overview:

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the effective management of tooling projects, ensuring seamless communication with customers, efficient mold quotations, and timely product design analysis for manufacturing purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage customer relationships, ensuring accurate information exchange and prompt responses to inquiries.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate mold quotations, capacity assessments, and design-for-manufacturing analyses at the ESI stage.
  • Design Review Meetings: Arrange DFM review meetings and communicate with customers to lock down project activities and timelines.
  • Mold Development: Initiate KO in tooling factories and convey correct information to design and master planning teams to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in design 3D review meetings, urging relevant departments to attend and address any quality concerns promptly.
  • Troubleshooting: Deal with urgent cases during mold fabrication, assembly, and testing, arranging debugging schemes as necessary.
  • Project Completion: Ensure project completion on time according to schedules and follow up on team projects to guarantee ECNs are completed effectively.
  • Progress Tracking: Track project progress and quality, managing mold repair work within stipulated times to minimize delays.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Work out summary reports for molds delayed beyond schedule, analyze root causes, and propose solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Solution Implementation: Assist production sites in solving mold problems and ensuring successful production by implementing effective solutions.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor mold costs and develop improvement plans for exceeded debugging costs to optimize production expenses.
