Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure productivity of the unit meets established targets.
  • Maintain optimal condition and efficiency of equipment/machines.
  • Implement required safety protocols across manufacturing activities without compromise.
  • Guarantee product quality adheres to predefined norms.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of products and processes manufactured in the plant.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of 4M and upgrade initiatives.
  • Ensure timely inventory management, maintaining declared levels while optimizing storage and manufacturing area space.
  • Establish effective skill transfer channels for operating personnel within the unit.
  • Coordinate with HR to develop skill matrices and conduct competency mapping exercises.
  • Implement SAP manufacturing module across operational activities.
  • Introduce and promote TPM, Kaizen culture within the organization.
  • Deliver new orders within a 2-day timeframe from order date.
  • Pursue continuous cost reduction through suggestions for plant modifications, best practices, first-pass yield, and compounding.
  • Foster harmonious employee relationships, maintain discipline, motivate, and reward team members.
  • Support NPD teams for swift development of new products.
