Job Overview

Lead a high-impact engineering team in Abu Dhabi to drive projects that power LLMs, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems used by thousands globally.

Responsibilities:
  • Build, mentor, and lead a growing engineering team in Abu Dhabi
  • Own delivery of high-impact technical initiatives in AI infrastructure, backend systems, and developer tooling
  • Act as the technical bridge between teams to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Be deeply hands-on with code, while also driving architecture, sprint planning, and team growth
  • Establish engineering best practices and a high-performance culture in a rapidly scaling environment.
Requirements:
  • 12–17 years of experience in backend, infrastructure, or machine learning domains
  • Proven leadership — 8+ years managing engineering teams in fast-paced settings
  • Strong knowledge of Python, cloud-native systems (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD
  • Deep experience with AI agent frameworks, LangChain, vector databases, and modern LLM APIs
  • Passion for team-building, technical excellence, and cross-time-zone coordination.
Success Metrics:
  • Ramp up, understand systems, start hiring within 30 days
  • Drive local project execution, own sprint delivery within 60 days
  • Lead technical planning, formalize practices within 90 days
  • Fully own regional execution with a high-performing team under you within 180 days
