Senior Software Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead our engineering teams in shaping the technical direction of our organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in defining clear system designs and technical specifications that align with our product vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable system designs and drive execution by breaking down complex tasks into manageable deliverables.
  • Lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to remove roadblocks.
  • Champion best practices in software development, testing, deployment, and system monitoring.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including proven experience as a tech lead or senior developer.
  • Deep expertise in modern JavaScript (ES2018+) and reactive frameworks (Vue.js or React.js).
  • Extensive experience with backend systems developed in Node.js and SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Strong familiarity with data stores and streaming services (Redis required; Kafka is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of Linux-based systems (Ubuntu) and proficient scripting skills (bash/python/etc).
  • Advanced expertise in containerization (Docker), orchestration tools (Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS) and CDN/security providers (Cloudflare).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of API design principles and GraphQL.
  • Proficient in using Git, Jira, Notion, and Slack for collaborative software development.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly gain deep context in large and complex codebases.
  • Strong advocate for lean teams, minimal management overhead, and driving high individual and team impact.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, clean coding, documentation, and software design best practices.
