**Engineering Leadership Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled leader to helm our Verification & Identity Platform (VIP) team.

This team builds and scales core platform services that power identity verification and Know Your Customer (KYC/KYB) workflows across the globe, enabling seamless onboarding with trust and compliance.

As the leader of this team, you will drive technical strategy, manage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure our platform is robust, scalable, and secure.

You will:

  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers focused on identity verification and compliance infrastructure.
  • Owning the vision, strategy, and execution of the VIP team's roadmap.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, risk, legal, and compliance to deliver world-class verification systems.
  • Ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of identity and verification systems.
  • Fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Driving architectural decisions and long-term investments in the platform's evolution.

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years of engineering experience and 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • A proven track record of building and scaling backend infrastructure in high-stakes environments.
  • Experience with KYC, KYB, identity verification, or regulated compliance systems is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and setting direction in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**

  • Experience with security, privacy, or regulatory tech.
  • Built or maintained systems in fintech or other regulated industries.
  • A passion for building platforms that put user experience and security at the forefront.
