Job Summary

A key member of our team, the Murex Consultant will be responsible for providing first and second-level production system support on Murex 3.1.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Murex professional to implement, configure, and develop Murex systems in various aspects, including datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate with stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.
  • Analysis and recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience will be essential.
  • The chosen candidate will follow client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
  • The consultant will support IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
  • Database and infrastructure changes will be developed and tested.
  • Technical reviews of production changes will be performed.
  • Clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution will be written within Confluence.
  • Maintenance and enhancement of the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches will be a priority.
  • The ideal candidate will deal directly with business users across the bank to analyze and diagnose business-critical issues.
  • Issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting will be analyzed and resolved.
  • Detailed information about issues will be provided to the vendor, and coordination with them in testing fixes/solutions will be necessary.
  • The consultant will act as an intermediary between business and vendor.
  • Bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation will be debugged and enhanced.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity is required.

Strong technical capability is essential.

Solid understanding of DataMart is necessary.
