Credit analysts play a crucial role in investment research and analysis, combining fundamental research with data-driven techniques to support investment decisions. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in credit research, investment banking, or asset management, with a strong academic background, preferably CFA, CPA, or MBA in Finance. Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and covenant analysis is essential, as well as familiarity with high yield, distressed, and investment grade markets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required, along with the ability to synthesize complex analysis into actionable insights.
