Investment Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced investment professional to lead our investments team. This role will be based in India and is a hybrid position that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Job Overview

This Investment Leader - Investments role will focus on various aspects of institutional investing, including data collection and analysis, investment strategies research, performance reporting, and related investment consulting support functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare month and quarterly performance reports for clients by analyzing and interpreting financial data.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Communicate with investment and custodians to gather client-specific data for reporting.
  • Client communications and reviews, managing ramp-ups and ongoing transitions by providing exceptional service.
  • Define, delegate, monitor, and participate in employee engagement activities.
  • Responsible for mentoring and leading a team of analysts across different processes by providing guidance and support.
  • Own accountability by troubleshooting issues on projects and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Responsible for driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Manage relationships with business owners and senior management by fostering strong partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in investment leadership roles.
  • Graduate degree in finance or equivalent, with progress towards CFA and CIPM preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python and SQL programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of investment-related terminology and concepts.
  • Experience in analyzing investment portfolios or researching investment managers.
  • Computations of returns for clients.
  • Exposure to global capital markets and asset classes.
  • Good command of MS Office applications.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
