Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for overseeing all warehouse functions, including inward, sorting, picking, outbound, and inventory management.
  • Need to unload vehicles on time and acknowledge receipt via mail.
  • Plan required manpower based on volume fluctuations.
  • Manage a team of 150+ staff members independently while promoting teamwork.
  • Ensure loss control on the site, analyze operational misses, and improve productivity.
  • Maintain good hygiene standards in the warehouse, respond to customer queries promptly, and ensure employee and premises safety.
  • Escalate non-compliance issues to Management timely and handle short/excess shipments efficiently.
  • Improve productivity by planning layout-wise manpower distribution, regional P&L management, and ensuring zero debits from customers.
  • Support customers with timely needs, resolve queries, and send reports in a timely manner.
  • Proactively handle customer escalations alongside the Warehouse Manager to reduce complaints.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a relevant industry.
  • Rich exposure to DC operations.
  • Able to work in an advanced IT environment.
  • Proficient in SAP and WMS transactions.
  • Graduate or postgraduate degree from a reputable university in operations and supply chain management.
