Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including but not limited to inventory management, materials handling, shipping, receiving, and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment for all warehouse personnel.
  • Develop and implement warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize processes, minimize errors, and enhance efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
  • Utilize SAP Warehouse Management to maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and manage material movements.
  • Implement Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance warehouse processes and reduce waste.
  • Monitor and control warehouse expenses, including labor, equipment, and supplies, to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Generate reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies, quality issues, or operational challenges promptly.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 14 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or API manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP Warehouse Management is essential.
  • Six Sigma certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory compliance in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
