Company DescriptionGerresheimer is an innovative system and solution provider and global partner for the pharma biotech and cosmetic industries The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of pharmaceutical containment solutions drug delivery systems and medical devices as well as solutions for the health industry The product range includes digital solutions for therapy support medication pumps syringes pens auto-injectors and inhalers as well as vials ampoules tablet containers dropper bottles other bottles and more Gerresheimer ensures the safe delivery and reliable administration of drugs to the patient With 36 production sites in 16 countries in Europe America and Asia Gerresheimer has a global presence and produces locally for the regional markets We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Assistant Manager for our warehouse operations in Surat India The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse activities ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of productivity and safety Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning coordinating and supervising all warehouse operations Manage inventory levels implement inventory control procedures and conduct regular audits Oversee the receiving storing and shipping of goods ensuring accuracy and timeliness Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff providing guidance and training as needed Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment Analyze warehouse performance metrics and suggest improvements to increase efficiency Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain processes Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and local regulations Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean management practices Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field 8 above years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control software Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Familiarity with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and OSHA standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed Additional InformationNeed Immediate Joiner
