Job Title: Business Growth Specialist

About the Job

The Business Growth Specialist will be responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships to drive revenue growth and increase customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage banking and investments relationships with a focus on overall business growth and increasing liabilities and investment volumes.
  • Develop, manage, and expand customer relationships by providing exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.
  • Identify current and potential relationships with additional revenue potential and grow business volumes for larger shares of the customer wallet.
  • Sales targets spread across liabilities, retail assets, business banking, forex, cards, and investments.
  • Proactively sell the full range of consumer and commercial products to current and potential relationships.
  • Increase CASA balance in allocated portfolios through deepening or acquisition.
  • Drive higher product and channel penetration to deepen mapped relationships and increase customer relationship value.
Customer Engagement:
  • Ensure portfolio quality by regularly engaging with each mapped relationship and maintaining desired relationship values.
  • Face-to-client and first point of contact for service and sales satisfaction of mapped clients.
Investments:
  • Analyze financial needs of customers and offer appropriate products with utmost transparency.
  • Drive revenue business to generate fee income through products like mutual funds, investments, and insurance.
Audit & Compliance:
  • Adhere to bank policies on acquisition/BSA/KYC as well as compliance requirements of regulatory authorities (RBI, SEBI, AMFI, IRDA, etc).
Self-Management:
  • Define performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensure they are monitored and achieved during the course of the year.
  • Take ownership of own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the reporting manager and working towards bridging gaps through various means beyond just training.
  • Understand relevant competencies for the role and work towards displaying and developing them effectively.
Risk and Internal Control:
  • Follow risk policy and processes to mitigate operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational, and audit risks as instructed by the departmental manager.
  • Execute established internal control systems and compile relevant information for departmental audits as necessary.
