About the role

Seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive successful delivery.

You will be responsible for aligning business goals with technical capabilities, initiating programs, measuring progress, and managing risk.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Program Management:
  • Initiate programs, manage scope, timelines, and resources ensuring timely delivery and successful rollout of new features.
  • Closely coordinate with Engineering and Infra teams to ensure smooth deployments and execution of go-to-market (GTM) plans.

Key Skills :

  • Strong grasp of technical concepts enabling effective engagement with engineering teams.
  • Ability to understand High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), ask questions, and facilitate informed discussions.

Leadership Abilities :

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and communication between cross-functional teams.
  • Bridge the gap between business, product, and engineering by ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the software delivery process.

Risk Management :

  • Identify and mitigate potential technical risks that could impact program success.
  • Develop contingency plans and ensure the program remains resilient in the face of challenges.

Stakeholder Management :

  • Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Seek their support when needed.

Data Analysis and Reporting :

  • Track key program metrics, create dashboards, and generate reports to monitor progress and measure success.

Process Improvement & Quarterly Planning :

  • Own and manage the end-to-end quarterly planning cycle.
  • Coordinate with Product to gather concept notes or PRDs.
  • Work with Design team to obtain wireframes or sketches.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to conduct grooming sessions, capacity planning, and finalize feature list for the upcoming quarter.
  • Lead communication and alignment across stakeholders to ensure clarity, transparency, and accountability.
  • Run bi-weekly tracking and check-ins to monitor progress against plan, identify blockers, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement with a mindset of simplifying workflows and maximizing team efficiency.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of industry experience in program management.
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional environments where communication with multiple groups is crucial.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly and learn new technologies with minimal lag time.
  • High attention to detail prioritizing multiple programs simultaneously and delivering in fast-paced dynamic environments.
  • Ability to understand cross-functional dependencies and drive towards technical solutions for multi-tiered programs.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on technical programs.
  • Technical aptitude to quickly grasp complex technical issues and communicate directly with technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
  • Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills with ability to influence Stakeholders.

Preferred Skills/Certifications :

  • PMP, PMI ACP, PfMP.
  • CSM, ACSM. CSP - Scrum Master, PSM 1, PSM 2.
  • SAFe certification.
