Senior Corporate Accountant Role

This role involves overseeing the delivery of financial services to clients in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Manage a team and implement procedures to ensure high-quality results.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as Risk, Compliance, and Legal, to meet objectives.
  • E nsure that internal and external service levels and regulatory deadlines are met within the corporate accounting team.
  • Develop procedures to meet professional standards.
  • Work with the team to review management accounts for clients before issuance.
  • The team delivers timely and accurate monthly, quarterly management, and statutory financial information.
  • Provide financial information to clients and customers, adhering to strict filing deadlines.
  • Prepare and file regulatory reports, implementing improvements in the accounting process to ensure it is robust, controlled, and efficient.

The incumbent must understand regional laws and perform day-to-day work according to established procedures.

The role requires working in rotational shifts, with shifts starting at 11:30 AM.

Candidate Requirements
  • A degree in Finance or Accountancy and a qualification as an Inter Chartered Accountant.
  • Experience in Accounts teams, Finance teams environments, Accounting Practices.
  • Knowledge of core accounting principles, journal entries, trial balances, P&L, Balance sheets, etc.
  • An ability to work independently as part of a wider team.
  • Respect for diverse views, cultures, and methods with a willingness to embrace them.
  • Effective communication skills and adept at building relationships.
  • Ability to work in demanding environments with strong time management, organizational, oral, written communication skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
