Job Title: Financial Management Specialist

A critical role in driving the financial success of an organization, contributing to growth and achievement through effective financial oversight, analysis, and reporting.

The job involves:

Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Collaborating with other departments to create and manage budgets for different projects or operational areas.
  • Monitoring budget performance and variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Developing accurate financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
General Accounting
  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Reconciling financial records and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Financial Insights and Strategy
  • Conducting thorough financial analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Providing insights on financial performance, cost control, and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Assisting in evaluating investment opportunities and business expansion strategies.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Leading and mentoring a team of accountants, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Delegating tasks effectively, setting performance goals, and conducting regular performance reviews.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Coordinating with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other relevant laws.
Cash Flow and Working Capital Management
  • Monitoring cash flows and liquidity, optimizing working capital management.
  • Implementing strategies to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications like CPA, CMA, ACCA can be advantageous).
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
