Job Title: Pilates Instructor

As a qualified Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging and challenging classes to promote overall health and wellbeing. Your role will involve working with clients of varying abilities, adapting your teaching to meet their needs, and ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout each session.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Pilates classes for clients of mixed ability, catering for varying needs within a class offering adaptations and progressions as well as modifications where necessary.
  • Promote the benefits of Pilates and overall general health benefits of exercise to clients, encouraging them to develop healthy habits and lifestyle choices.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to clients, tailoring your teaching to meet their specific needs and goals.
  • Engage class participants and encourage client retention by building rapport and understanding client's objectives.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Pilates instruction or related field (e.g. physical education, fitness training).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
