  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading NPI projects, ensuring timely execution from concept to market.">
  • They will also oversee project timelines, cost targets, and quality metrics across the product lifecycle.">
  • A key aspect of this role is establishing clear program governance, stage-gate reviews, and risk management frameworks.">
  • The New Product Launch Director will collaborate with R&D, design, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and marketing teams to drive supplier and vendor engagement during development and ramp-up.">
  • They will ensure DFMA and DFX principles are integrated early in the design stage and oversee prototyping, pilot builds, and validation testing (performance, reliability, regulatory compliance).">
  • This role also involves issue tracking and resolution during EVT, DVT, and PVT phases, as well as establishing production readiness with manufacturing teams.">
  • The successful candidate will drive cost optimization through value engineering and supplier development, and ensure smooth handover to operations post-launch.">
  • They will track post-launch performance (quality, service feedback, cost metrics) and drive iterative improvements.">
  • To succeed in this role, the candidate must have strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities, as well as excellent communication and documentation skills.">

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong program management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.">
  • Deep understanding of appliance product development, preferably in water purifiers / home appliances / consumer electronics.">
  • Knowledge of plastic parts, filtration technologies, electronics integration, pumps/valves, and assembly processes.">
  • Hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, regulatory certifications (ROHS, ISI, BIS, NSF, etc.).">
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.">
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.">
