Job Title: Senior Product Launch Director

The Senior Product Launch Director will lead a team at an international pharmaceutical company, overseeing all aspects of product launches for various portfolio segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize project management and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Drive excellence in launch management by achieving successful execution.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with regional leaders and key functions to ensure accurate data on NPL timelines and replenishment plans.
  • Lead planning efforts across functional departments, allocating resources, managing material supplies, conducting financial assessments, and implementing capacity planning.
  • Inform strategic decisions regarding the product portfolio, highlighting dependencies and implications.
  • Implement best practices in NPL management using dashboards, templates, and tools for efficient planning and execution.
  • Moderate alignment and accountability within regional and corporate departments to meet organizational objectives.
  • Manage work calendars, optimize governance processes, and partner with senior management as needed.
  • Effectively communicate launch status throughout the organization.
  • Develop comprehensive launch plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Nurture professional relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Foster talent growth through coaching, performance evaluations, and clear expectations.
  • Oversee a team of planners and launch managers.
  • Demonstrate extensive understanding of oncology/specialty products in emerging markets.
  • Provide insights into customer preferences and product potential in global markets.
  • Evaluate go-to-market strategies and support local teams in customer profiling, target setting, and channel planning.
  • Manage commercial aspects of new product launches from demand generation to supply planning.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Project management certification is desirable.
  • 20+ years of experience in planning, NPL, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
