Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Product Launch Specialist to spearhead the introduction of innovative water purification products. This key role will oversee multiple projects, driving them from concept to launch while ensuring timely execution, cost targets, and quality metrics.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Lead product launches for various water purifier products, managing project timelines, cost targets, and quality metrics across the product lifecycle. Establish clear program governance, stage-gate reviews, and risk management frameworks.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with R&D, design, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and marketing teams. Align stakeholders to deliver on product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements. Drive supplier and vendor engagement during development and ramp-up.
  • Product Development & Validation: Ensure DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) and DFX principles are integrated early in the design stage. Oversee prototyping, pilot builds, and validation testing (performance, reliability, regulatory compliance). Lead issue tracking and resolution during EVT, DVT, and PVT phases.
  • Operational Readiness: Establish production readiness with manufacturing teams, including process validation, line setup, and yield improvement. Drive cost optimization through value engineering and supplier development. Ensure smooth handover to operations post-launch.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine product launch processes, tools, and best practices tailored for consumer appliance development. Track post-launch performance (quality, service feedback, cost metrics) and drive iterative improvements.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong program management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects. Deep understanding of appliance product development, preferably in water purifiers / home appliances / consumer electronics.
  • Knowledge of plastic parts, filtration technologies, electronics integration, pumps/valves, and assembly processes. Hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, regulatory certifications (ROHS, ISI, BIS, NSF, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities. Strong communication and documentation skills.
